Anna's first day of school in second grade.

Anna broke both her legs and was in a body cast for 4 weeks.

Anna is wearing one of Katrina's t-shirts from China that said "I walked on the Great Wall of China."  She was very happy this day.

During the summer Anna had therapy riding a horse.

Picture of Carter family when June Lee was living with them earlier in the year.  It was the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek.  This came from June's Facebook page.

Grant in the cabin created with cushions from the sofa, banana chairs, etc.

John loves to play Mouse Trap.  He can put all of the pieces together by himself.

As I was trying to take a couple picture of Mark and Kristilyn, little John wanted to get in on the action.

Kristilyn, Grant, James, Lillian, Amelia, and John helped pick peaches in West Jordan.

Eliasons grew several very large watermelons in their planter boxes on their park strip.

John and Kathryn Ann toured the stained glass studio at Thanksgiving Point with the Training Zone.  We saw many windows from the various LDS temples including those which were ready to be shipped to the Rome Temple.

Pictures of the large stained glass windows which are being installed at the library at UVU in October.

Detail of the UVU library window which took over 10 years and 2.6 million donated dollars to create.

Sister Sasine and John at the art institute.

Logan Canyon

Bear Lake -- what magical memories of family trips and reunions!

Star Valley Temple Open House in Afton, Wyoming.

This is a beautiful little temple.

Most of the temple visitors used buses to travel from the meetinghouse to the temple but some fortunate ones rode in wagons.

The star on the mountain for Star Valley.
After temple open house, we spent the night with Neal and Katrina's family, then visited Craters of the Moon on the way home.  It was a fun fall get away.

A cinder cone at Craters of the Moon National Monument.

Splatter cones at Craters of the Moon.  These volcanoes are dormant, not extinct.  The last eruption according to the National Park Service was 2000 years ago.
