2018 Winter Pictures

Brandon taking Kate and Charlotte to the Valentine's Dance.

Victoria loves Kate and is literally copying everything she does. It's funny to watch Victoria take a bite of cereal right after Kate does or drink her milk out of her bowl when Kate does. Kate hasn't noticed that Victoria's eyes are constantly watching her but I have.

Watching . . .

Then doing.

Desi is into her exercise routine with sidekick and cheerleader Milly.

Emily turned twelve and they celebrated with a surprise party.  Ruby also turned 7 on Valentine's Day.

Emily is preparing for the piano competitions.

Mordecai continues to do well on the piano as well as with basketball and Cub Scouts.

Happy 2nd Birthday (February 17th)  to this cutie pie! Lydia is full of life and keeps up laughing. She loves to play with her baby dolls, color with crayons, and play outside. You’ll hear her say “I dunno, hold me please, hot dog, cookie, and stinky.” She loves to interact with people and will totally perform if she knows she has an audience.🤣 She can hold her own with Ethan and I love to see them give hugs and play hide and seek together. Can’t imagine life without her!

Kim put delightful pictures of Talisa at each age to celebrate her 12th birthday.  What precious memories.

Happy 12th Birthday, Talisa

Kira is getting braces.

James and Grant love their fish.  Their projects went to the district science fair level and Grant's continued on to the regional level.

John's 5th birthday is next Tuesday and he gets to start gymnastics on Thursday!

John, Lillian, and Amelia love going to the library.

Lillian and Amelia are playing with Shimmer and Shine.

Getting ready to watch a video at Grandpa and Grandma's house.

Winter finally came to Utah on Presidents' Day.

John and Kathryn Ann attended Pres. Thomas S. Monson's funeral in the Conference Center.

David Lynn Rogers (1938-2018)

In memory of David Lynn Rogers, born January 2, 1938, Los Angeles, California, and died February 15, 2018 in Washington, Utah, of pancreatic cancer.

David was a faculty member at the University of Colorado, Iowa State University, Colorado State University and Utah State University. While at Colorado State University he served as department head of the Sociology Department for six years. While at Utah State University he was appointed Associate Dean for Extension in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

He and his wife moved to Washington, Utah in 2004. Here he enjoyed making special, lifelong friendships, being a part of the SUP (Sons of Utah Pioneers), singing with the Southern Utah Heritage Choir, and taking up the sport of golf.

David loved the Lord, always eager to serve wherever and whenever he was asked. In 1958-1960, he served a mission in the Northern California Mission. In 2011-2012 he and his wife, Tamara, served in the Japan Fukuoka Mission. Whatever calling he had, he served with dedication, enthusiasm and love for the people he served.
