In Kentucky, Ethan starts preschool the day after Labor Day.

We love all of our grandchildren.

We celebrated Amelia and Lillian's 7th birthdays late with cupcakes.

Desi and her brother Joey completed a triathlon.  '

Neal, Katrina, Daniel, and Anna had a mini-family vacation.  Here they are at Shoshone Falls.

We had a fun BBQ at Keith and Kim's and the children loved playing in the sand.  Later they had an energetic game of tag.

Washing up for dinner and later dessert was a production.

Kira loves her moped.

On August 13, eighteen of the Whitlock cousins gathered at Tushar Brazilian Grill to visit and eat.  Karen and Kathryn Ann missed their sister Edie who is serving a mission in New York with her husband, Roger.

On August 19, a water main broke on the middle street sending water 75 feet into the air.

September 1 we took a drive to Heber and visited the graves of Kathryn's grandparents.  It was her  Grandma Catharine's birthday.

Heber City Cemetery where many of her father's family are buried.    Her grandparents' home is now gone and the site is covered with many newly built homes.

Her great-grandparents' home is being lived in and cared for by a granddaughter.

Her great-grandparents are John Henry Hicken and Isabelle Todd.

This is her parents' home in Lindon
