Late July, 2021--End of Mission, Burningham move from Orem

It was our last day as missionaries in the Utah Salt Lake City Headquarters Mission serving in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in the Training Zone.  We have served for 12 1/2 years and cherished the experience of learning together and teaching others.

Sarah and Spencer drink supplementary bottles and eat solids.  They especially like Cheerios and bananas.
Ethan and Lydia stayed overnight and we went to West Jordan Park.

Lydia liked the elevator.

A bull got out of the animal clinic pasture three times to eat the grass in our yard and our peach and apples trees.

They were able to lure him back with slices of bread.

4th of July Celebrations, 2021--Keith's at Mike's in Colorado, Melody in Utah

The Rogers Cousins were together in Colorado for the 4th of July, 2021.  Keith's family was there from July 2-July 6.

Sparklers are always fun.  Talisa, Ivy, Kira, Emily, Mordecai, Ruby, and Milly.

Red, white and blue treats are delicious.

Fun on the trampoline.  They also enjoyed swimming.

Melody, Brandon, Charlotte, Kate, and Victoria flew in from Arizona on Saturday, July 3.  Brandon had to return to work on July 5 but the rest were able to stay until July 8.

Because of the severe restrictions on fireworks because of the drought, we lit them in West Jordan.  The Eliasons came over  and we had a great time with smoke bombs, pop its, sparklers, and fountains.

James and Grant wore their Covid Survivors shirts from their Antelope Island by Moonlight ride.

Victoria in red, white and blue.
Lillian and Charlotte with Amelia in the back ground.

Watching fountains at a safe distance.

Charlotte and Kate helped make frog-eye salad for dinner.

The cows became curious.

We had Sunday dinner at Julie and Jason's home.  The girls love the twins Spencer and Sarah.

At five-years-old, Lydia is taller than Victoria.

Monday 20 of us met at Cascade Springs  for a hike.  It was beautiful to be in American Fork and Provo Canyons as well as to travel over the Alpine Loop down into Heber Valley.  What memories!

We had a picnic lunch at Nunn's Park in Provo Canyon and played ultimate frisbee.

Lydia and Victoria played in the fire pit.

Monday, July 5, was the official Independence Day celebration so we celebrated in nature.  Brandon returned to Arizona.  In the evening Grandma walked around the neighborhood with Charlotte and Kate watching fireworks.

Tuesday Melody and her girls spent the day with Kristilyn's family.  The girls' hair shimmers like gold even in the shade.  It is hard to get a picture of it.

Wednesday time was spent in Orem with Julie's family.
We were able to reserve a large house for our 2022 reunion near Bear Lake.

Wednesday evening Keith, Kim, Talisa, and Kira came over to visit.  The little ones played restaurant then they played outside with the bubbles.
