June Vacations Days- 2022--Mike's fam in SW CO, Mark's fam in CA

Desi was the Stake Primary President responsible for four days of stake activities--two for girls and two for boys  which was like  Cub Country in Scouting.  60 girls and 57 boys participated.

Mark and Kristilyn's family had a wonderful vacation to California.  They visited with Mark's aunts and uncle and the graves of grandparents and other family members.

The family cabin at Donner Lake.  They had access to the key and had lunch inside after exploring the cabin.  

Vernal and Nevada Falls in Yosemite National Park.  The family climbed the 700 steps on the Misty Trail to the top of Vernal Falls.  Mark, Grant, and John continued on to the top of Nevada Falls.

The trees in Sequoia National Park were huge and old--2000 to 4000 years old.  This is the root system from a fallen tree.

It was a trip down memory lane for Mark and Krisitlyn at University of California Irvine where they courted and lived when they were first married.  They are sitting in front of the building where Kristilyn did DNA research while Mark was in medical school.

The children were fascinated with the kissing or cleaning fish at Sea World.  

Grant and James are employed as life guards at Fairmont Aquatic Center this summer.

Victoria broke her right arm.  Fortunately, she is left-handed.  

Edie and I attended our beloved Lindon neighbor's funeral.
