Mike and Desi took we grandparents to a gymnastics competition in Johnstown.  Ivy and Ruby both placed first overall in their age groups.  It was very exciting!  Above is Ivy on the winner's stand.

Ruby on the first place overall stand.

Notice Ruby's form--arrow straight with pointed toes!

Mordecai loves playing Rachmaninoff because of his strong, large hands.

He can reach an octave and a half.

Monday, April 29, 2024 we drove to Bluff, Utah to appreciate the pioneers sacrifice to settle the area in 1880 after a five month winter trek, building their own roads through wild country, to get there.

There were excellent exhibits and docents to explain things.

We looked inside the hogan.

Youth conferences are held here.

Bluff

Bluff is down in a deep, protected ravine by the river.

We stopped at this fun tourist trap.

The arch is huge.

We saw lots of fresh snow on this trip throughout Utah, Wyoming, and Colorado.

The Monticello Temple is small like a stake center but beautiful and well attended.

We found Lewis Singer's mother's headstone as well as those of his siblings in the Blanding Cemetery.

The back side of Ruth Singer's grave marker.  Blanding Cemetery is quite large and well kept.
