2025 March--Roberts on horses, Carters' van, Daniel to TX, new carpet , Eliason events

Daniel visited Mordecai in Colorado then Ethan, Jason, Julie, and Lydia in Texas as he saw some major league baseball games with friends.  


The Eliasons put the front room furniture in the kitchen while the front room was being carpeted.  




Brent replaced the treads on the stairs as well as the upper layer of the floor in the hall to eliminate the squeaks.  







Amelia won Best in Show at the district middle school art competition in the digital arts photography category.  She drew the picture then uploaded it to Adobe where she added all the color.  



Grant received his Patriarchal blessing.  James will receive his soon.  Emily, Mordecai, Talisa, and Kria have received theirs.   


John was the narrator in his school production of Twelfth Night.

2025 February-Cruises- Bill's marriage-Zoe & Andrew Missions

Four wards were redistricted in their Texas area and they are now in a new ward.  

Jason and Julie celebrated their birthdays with a cruise while Jason's parents tended the children.

Zoe received her endowments in the Layton Temple with many family members present.  She will serve as a missionary in Brazil.  


Kevin Smith 1982-2025

 January 27, 1982 – February 8, 2025

Our son and brother, Kevin Bradley Smith, age 43, passed away during the night on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Sandstone Pioneer Trail Nursing Home. Kevin was born on January 27, 1982, in Brigham City, Utah, to Mary Kathleen (Kathie) Rogers Smith and Dennis Lee Smith. He is the fourth child in the family. His siblings are Timothy Scott Smith (deceased), Marilee Michelle Smith Vicencio, Christopher Thomas Smith, and Douglas Bruce Smith.

He was born into an active Latter-day Saint family and attended church with them. Kevin attended school at Bunderson Elementary, Box Elder Junior High School, and Box Elder High School. He played cello in junior high, worked with his dad at Zero Defects after high school, and attended college at Utah State University.

He married Candice Gardner in July 2005. They had two daughters: Cerice and Cerrah. Later he earned his Bachelor’s degree and taught high school math at Minico High School in Paul, Idaho. He enjoyed electronics, politics, and building things.

He died from a rare disease called adrenal myelo neuropathy after a slow decline over many years. At the end he spent nearly a year in Sandstone Pioneer Trail Nursing Home. We appreciate the care he received there.

Kevin is survived by his mother: Kathie Smith; siblings: Marilee (Chris) Vicencio, Christopher, Doug (Tracy), and daughters: Cerice and Cerrah Smith.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City, Utah. There will be a Viewing prior to the service from 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery.  Services entrusted to Myers Mortuary of Brigham City, Utah.
