October 2013 Changes

October has been a wonderful month with lots of family activities. 

 Andrew and Anthony Rasband were baptized on October 12, 2013 and all of the extended family were there to share the event. 

 Kristilyn brought Amelia, Lillian, and John to visit us in the Training Zone on Temple Square for the first time.  The girls were very excited to see the temple and all the fountains. 

 This is is our personal cubby in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. 

 The girls were enchanted with the temple screen saver on my computer.  Every time the screen changed, they would say, "a tempo!"

 James was demonstrating his climbing abilities on the pole in our family room. 


 Lillian was eager to imitate him. 

 Sunday, October 27, 2013 we had family dinner at Eliasons.  Afterward the children modeled their Halloween costumes for each other.

 John with Ethan who soon will be three months old. 

 Talisa and Kira in their elegant costumes which were handcrafted by their talented other grandma.

 Lillian is not happy because her daddy won't open up the sand pile. 

 Baby John is a very cute tiger at 8 months.   

 Jason and Julie and precious Ethan at our last family dinner until next summer.  They are moving to Kentucky where he has an excellent job. 

 John, Julie and Ethan, Jason, Kim, Keith, Kristilyn, and Mark. 

 The neighbor's garage was a good staging area for the move to Kentucky. 

 They packed the ABF truck with the help of family and friends and left on Halloween to drive across the country.

Julie, Jason, and Ethan as they leave for their new home.  We have loved having them near and know that they will have joy and bless the lives of their new friends in Kentucky.  It is hard to have our family live so far away because we will miss the frequent personal interaction.  Thank goodness for modern communication.
