Julie, Ethan, and Lydia flew from Kentucky to visit Melody's family in Arizona.  See Julie's blog for more cute pictures.

Ruby and Desi.  As the Young Women President in her ward, Desi spent about 3 months working with the youth to prepare them for the Celebration of the dedication of the Fort Collins Temple.  They live equidistant from the Fort Collins and Denver Temples and are the southern most stake in the Fort Collins Temple district.  We were delighted to watch the stream of the Celebration.  Mike, Desi, Emily and Moredcai attended the dedication in their stake center.

The theme of the Celebration was Fortress of Faith because like the original Fort Collins, the temple is a place of refuge and renewal.

Because Desi was a young women's leader, her family was given tickets for the Celebration as were the families of all the 4000 participating youth.  Desi had Milly with her until 2:00 PM the day of the performance when Mike came with the rest of the children, got Milly from Desi, then went to  a hotel so he and the children could play and have dinner before the evening performance.

View of the stadium from the participants side before the temple is constructed.  The youth from Mike and Desi's ward is on the field.  Pres. Uchtdorf and his wife were there and spoke to the youth!

View of the finale with the temple constructed.  The music, dancing, narration, costumes, etc. were very well done.

Anna's second grade picture taken the day before both of her legs were broken and she had a body cast.  She is doing well and will be down to Shriner's Hospital  next week for infusion therapy to strengthen her weak bones.
