Rogers Reunion 2018 -- Rexburg, Idaho--Part 1

We had a family reunion with all our children and grandchildren. It began on Wednesday, July 18^th, when Julie and Jason with Ethan (4) and Lydia (2) flew in from Kentucky. Jason had to work several days but the family was able to be in Utah and do fun things.

Lydia takes very good care of her "babies."

Jason went with his brother Andy to meet with their other brothers at a cabin for a few days of boating, biking, and bonding.

Talisa and Kira were so cute to interact with their little cousins. Ethan discovered little Legos.

Saturday, July 21, Keith and Kim and their girls and Julie and Ethan and Lydia hiked to Donut Falls. They were delighted to find Mark and Kristilyn and their children on the trail as well.

To celebrate Pioneer Day Mark and Kristilyn and their children, Julie and her children, and Grandma and Grandpa went to Red Butte Gardens. It was a wonderful outing.

The Lego exhibit was amazing and especially interesting to James and Grant who do much creative work with Legos.

Our hotel rooms looked pretty much the same.

We enjoyed excellent breakfasts here.

Grandma Rogers told about some family keepsakes.

The children learned about their great-great grandparents on Sunday morning. Later we all attended church together and Daniel, as a newly ordained deacon, passed the sacrament to us.
