2019 July Mark's to Colorado, Keith's to Alaska, Melody's to Utah

 Melody, Victoria, Kate, Charlotte, and Brandon enjoyed a family reunion with Brandon's family in Southern California where they went to the beach, Sea World, and San Diego Zoo.

   

Victoria was fascinated with sparkers.   

The girls are excited about the video player in their new van.  Papa is in the back seat.

 Mark and Kristilyn's family went to Colorado to visit Mike and Desi's family.  The 4th of July is always a spectacular holiday.

 Melody brought Charlotte, Kate, and Victoria for a visit in Utah from Arizona.  Victoria

 Temple Square at the reflection pool with the Church Office Building in the back.  We went up to the 26th floor.  The girls called the people on the ground "action figures."

We unexpectedly met Mark and Kristilyn and their children at Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon.

Keith, Kim, Talisa, and Kira came over on Saturday night and had a wonderful visit.  Especially fun was listening to their laughter and giggles.

For Sunday family dinner, the grandchildren ate outside under the carport.

Aunt Lillis and Uncle Frank came to dinner and we had a wonderful visit together.  The 15 minutes turned into an hour and half.

Tender farewells!

The children were so thoughtful and considerate during Lillis and Frank's visit.  The older children played games and created activities to keep them happy.  It was remarkable to see their cooperation and kindness.  This may be Lillis' last family outing because she has pancreatic cancer.

We had two kinds of ice cream and two kinds of rice krispie treats that Kim brought in remembrance of the many times that Uncle Frank brought lots of ice cream and trimmings !

Kristilyn and Melody's children met a a bounce house for 2 1/2 hours of fun.

Lydia and Ethan enjoy Play-Doh.  Their family is moving to Utah from Kentucky in August so Jason can attend Brigham Young University to get his Master of Business Administration degree.
