March 2022--Melody & Brandon AZ Staycation, Prom, Macbeth, Lindon

For spring break, Brandon and Melody chose to have a "staycation."  Brandon took 2 1/2 days off from work but they spent the other days doing day trips and activities around the Queen Creek and Mesa area.  They had a wonderful time playing at various places, eating out at times, but sleeping in their own beds at night.  They purchased special passes so they had free or reduced prices to the venues.

Charlotte loves her pink camera. 

Their orange trees produced well.  They harvested all the ripe fruit when the fragrant orange blossoms bloomes.  

Victoria is excited about the cute pig she got for her birthday.  The pig walks and wiggles its snout.

Charlotte and Kate became quite the photographers.  

Roller skating was a new experience for the girls.  

Charlotte was determined.  

 Kate was willing to try.  They will try it again in a few months.  

Enchanted Island was a lot of amusement rides geared to ages 5-10 and it was perfect for their family.  

I love their smiles.  

Another day was spent at a water park.  This free spirit is Victoria who went off the board many, many times.  The lifeguard commented that she has no fear.  She would swim to the side of the pool and try it again.  

All the girls were big enough to do all the slides which made this a wonderful activity.

Kristilyn treated Katrina and Kathryn to Chinese dinner and a performance of Shen Yun--native Chinese dances with a full orchestra and amazing visual effects.  

Emily sings beautifully.  She got her driver's license this month.  

Ruby plays the piano very well!

Amelia as one of the witches in Macbeth.  She was really into her part as she added the ingredients to the cauldron.  

Lillian is the shortest person in her class.  They had to purchase a dress for her because there wasn't one small enough to fit her in the costume closet.  

Macbeth is having troubled thoughts after being visited by the witches.  Amelia is the one in the middle.  

Lady Macbeth is having nightmares about the "spot."

Lady Macbeth continues her conniving ways to make sure Macbeth is the king of Denmark.  She fails and Macbeth is killed.

On March 21, George, Karen and Rich, Edie and Rogers, John and Kathryn had lunch at Los Hermanos in Lindon to celebrate George, Richard and Kathryn's birthdays.
