Talisa celebrated her 8th birthday with a family party and was baptized on March 1, 2014.
Papa Jerry and Grandma Jen were there along with Scott and Staci and their families. They are going on a 3 week trip to Europe to celebrate her retirement.
Grammy Kathy and Grandpa Scott Gailey are always there to support. She gave the baptism talk at Talisa's baptism.
A fun game was trying to knock over the water bottles as an "elephant" using panty hose with balls in them for the trunk. Papa was the winner in the adult bracket. He had those bottle knocked over way before time was up!
Another fun game was trying to shake out the balls from the box.
This was really fun to watch as people jumped and twisted.
Competitions became family affairs. --Keith, Talisa, Kira, and Kim
Opening presents is always fun.
We were sad that we missed Talisa's baptism because we were in Colorado for Emily's baptism on the same day. It is hard to have two granddaughters who are only 5 days apart who live in different states.
Talisa was baptized and confirmed by her father on Saturday, March 1, 2014. In the circle for the confirmation were her father, the grandfathers, uncles, and other special people. Afterward there was a delicious family dinner at Keith and Kim's. It was a memorable, sweet occasion.
