Pansies, poppies, and tulips on the Temple Square Plaza.

Temple Square is always beautiful and it is amazing to see how much work goes into maintaining and improving the plaza. In this picture, the workmen and replacing the sprinkling system. In a few weeks this area has been completed and resod with a granite border.

This week they began to remove to tulips and pansies and putting in the summer flowers.

Different flower beds have different themes and colors.

They are replacing the trees along the walkway going east from the temple. They are also draining and resurfacing all the fountains/flowing water including the unseen plumbing.

This is one view from outside our windows at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. They have been redoing/repairing the roof.

We've had an unusual week. We both had excellent CSM's though our time with them was limited because the Elijah Choir performed three times instead of the usal one. We had the privilege of participating in two streamed devotionals with Elder David Bednar. The talks were slightly different but well worth hearing twice. We live in a glorious age of the winding up scenes for the Second Coming of the Lord and the work is going on at a furious pace on both sides of the veil.
