We had dinner in West Jordan Sunday evening, May 2, to celebrate Lillis' birthday on May 2 and John's birthday on May 3. We were happy that the Eliasons were also able to join us. In the days before and after we also heard from all of our children. I'm glad that we celebrate the season of a birthday, not just the day. When Grandma and Grandpa Rasband celebrated their 50th (Golden) Anniversary they decided to make it a celebration for the whole year so anything special they did was part of that celebration. Because they married late they didn't expect to get to celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary so they made the most of it.
