Niagara Falls, New York - July 20, 2013

 This is a view of the rapids and Niagara River above Niagara Falls on the US side.

 A view of the bridge connecting the United States and Canada.  The traffic was at a virtual standstill because it was taking 2-3 hours to get through the border each way.  We did not go into Canada. 

 View of the Maid of the Mist ferries.  There are ferries leaving from both countries which go up under the falls.

The walking bridge over the Niagara River

The area was very crowded with people from all over the world.  There were Mennonite people,  wedding parties, many people from India and Asia.  English was not the most common language.  It was a fun adventure.  The falls are magnificent.
