Father's Day in West Jordan, 2010

We had a wonderful Father's Day in West Jordan with all of our in-state children and grandchildren to dinner. We heard from all the out-of-staters as well so our day was perfect. James fell asleep on the trip from Sugarhouse to West Jordan. Dragon is still his friend.
Grant and Doggy are still very close but today Grant let Doggy stay home on the couch while they went to church--a big step!
Talisa, Keith, Kira, and Kim. Just look at all those beautiful blue eyes!
Grant, Talisa, and James were having a great time throwing the letters down from the top bunk
(bonk beds) and it was educational because they would give the sound of each letter before they threw it. They are each holding their favorite letter--G for Grant, T for Talisa, and J for James.
Mark and Kristilyn, Jason and Julie, Keith and Kim. Notice how they stand still for a photo!
Our newly-weds got a class in 101 parenting this past week caring for Talisa and Kira. All the grand children loved chasin' Jason around the kitchen and front room.
Kristilyn and Mark are working on their backyard. Mark was wondering why he was having so much trouble with the sprinkling system when he noticed that the boys use the sprinkler heads for a step-stool. They hope to get a swing set in the back yard to complement their large covered sandpile.
Precious memories of grandchildren singing "It's alway fun when Grandpa comes." The garbage can is being used to carry around the alphabet letters so they can get washed. Throwing the letters was even more fun with Mark and Keith to play. The swish you see by the bottom bunk is Talisa. Kids move fast!
Mark connected his computer to Grandpa Eliason's computer in California via Skype and Grant and James are singing "I'm so glad when Daddy comes home.....(and I'll give him) a great big KISS!
We had a delightful time together and look forward to a month from now when we all can be together at Bear Lake.
