Brandon, Kate, Charlotte, Victoria, and Melody had a delightful trip to Flordia for Brandon's medical conference. They enjoyed a home on the beach.
It’s been fun to hear about others trips so I’ll share about our trip.
Our trip to Florida was fun while we were in Florida. The full day of travel there and home were long days filled with anxiety and waiting. But we survived it and won’t repeat it anytime soon! Lol
We stayed in a rental house 5 minutes from the Marriott hotel, where Brandon‘s medical conference was and a 10 minute walk from the beach. Since it was October, the beach was not busy. It had lots of soft, white sand and shells everywhere. The ocean water was 80+ degrees and the outside temp was 75-85.
The house was stocked with beach toys, towels, wagons, bikes, chairs, shade umbrellas, etc which made it convenient to come and go to the beach a couple times each day but not have to stay all day.
One day we paid for a boat ride to see dolphins and go to a special island to collect larger shells. It was just our family on the boat so it was a fun family outing.
Brandon was inducted as a Fellow in the Internal Medicine college. So he got to walk in a convocation.
We made good family memories.
