Thanks to everyone else for sharing their news. We had a fun trip to San Antonio over our Fall Break the other week. It was sunny and warm in the lower 90's. Halfway through our 5 hr. drive, the A/C in our van stopped working which made for a toasty ride the rest of the way. We were blessed to find a repair shop close to where we were staying that could fix it the next day while we went to Sea World.
The kids loved seeing the shows at Sea World and Sarah even requested to see the Orca show twice. The second time Jason took the twins to sit right by the glass and at one point in the program they got to stand by the glass when a whale swam by and pushed a wave of water over them. They won't forget that! Ethan, Lydia, and Jason also enjoyed going on some roller coaster rides. Spencer was a little more adventurous on the smaller roller coaster rides. Sarah was brave enough to try a couple but didn't like them.
We also went to a Children's Museum called the Doseum in San Antonio. Ethan and Lydia really enjoyed a Spy Academy area that had them solving many puzzles for a couple of hours while the twins were busy driving cars and serving burgers and fries at a kid's restaurant in Little Town.
Before we left we visited the Riverwalk and the Alamo in downtown San Antonio and thought about how Dad served part of his mission in San Antonio. We were grateful for fun memories and air conditioning on the ride home!
