It's been fun to see pictures and hear stories. Here's our story...I took my younger kids to St George over their Fall Break so we could catch "Newsies". This is also the play that West High will be performing in November. My kids were blown away by the production as most of their theater experience has been with high school or local community theaters. Amelia loved the acting and decided that she wanted to take a second look at thrift stores to improve her newsie costume. It was nice to see the variety of newsie styles for both boys and girls. Lillian was sitting next to me and would poke me every time there was a song with a flute solo. She was surprised that their high school pit orchestra is learning the exact same music! We loved the fireworks! Such a cool touch for an outdoor amphitheater.
While we were in St George, we hiked some rocks and trails in Snow Canyon, found a place to mini-golf, and enjoyed the hotel pool. We also ate ice cream every day; turns out The Creamery in Beaver has really good ice cream. I was also super impressed at their efficiency in serving the constant stream of visitors (a bonus when you're also racing the clock a little bit)!
